thou arrived centuries ago,
in this cultural archipelago.
the mountains stretched their arms,
welcoming mother earth's charms.
day by day , night by night.
civilizations rose to might.
and then a day came ,
the planet echoed your fame.
but all these years , nature saw.
in man, an inherent flaw.
that, nothing satisfies his greed.
be it anyone,from any creed.
this greed, man did manifest.
in development,his eternal quest.
he robbed of mother nature,
her diversity,her future.
and when the earth is choking,
he's now talking ,of global warming.
But Remember,my glorious brethen,
To zenith did thou rise,
But alas!
causing mother earth's demise.
hey dis is d' poem we read in class right it's good
